Lulu, world-class cancer researcher, farm girl and master of profanity, is a chain-smoking rebel with a tender heart. She has just discovered a new anti-cancer drug when at 42 she finds out she is dying of breast cancer herself. This cranky, lovely, stubborn and sparklingly witty woman turns to the one person she truly trusts to help her through the darkness.
